  • 400 full-time students between our three schools in Harlem and the Bronx

  • 100% public school students, referred to us by the Department of Education

  • About 70% of our students present with Autism Spectrum Disorder and are non-verbal or minimally-verbal

  • More than 85% of our families qualify for SNAP or Medicaid benefits, which illustrates the significant financial challenges they face

  • KCC runs the only Registered Apprenticeship Program in New York State training early childhood special educators

  • KCC Grow Your Own program trains 100 teacher assistants annually, and support 30 aspiring educators in college
